Hello,
Do you know if it's possible to disable the different sounds the Bravaa makes ? At night, it's a bit too loud.
Thanks

Re: disabling sound ?
There is no button sequence that is known to perform a speaker shut-down. Possibly adding a switch mod could work.

Dis-assembly will be required to access the leads that are connected to the sound generator (speaker)Viroos wrote:Just cut off the mic.

Re: disabling sound ?
Actually upon dis-assembly it appears that to disable sounds from your Braava will require one to unmount the SP1 component from the circuit board.
Re: disabling sound ?
Has anyone removed the speaker?
Are there any disassembly videos for the M6
The M6 takes forever to complete and needs to be run at night. Irobot has confirmed the speakers cannot be turned off. I have no need for a musical tone to go off upon starting and completing a mission.
Thanks in advance

I don't own one, and I haven't seen any teardowns online, but it would be the same procedure Vic outlined above: disconnect the speaker (unplug it, install a switch, de-solder it, etc.).

I have disconnected the speaker on a Roomba, but needed the Roomba disassembly video. Have not been able to find that for the M6. The loud ringtones seem to be an odd choice for a product that really needs to be operated at night. Neato now gives you the choice to turn off the speaker.
In any event, thanks for the reply
