home base IR sensor test

Hi I am not sure if anyone can help in any way I have a Roomba docking station and if i hold my camera at it i see to Pink led's flashing in the front but the one on top does nothing is there a reason for that and if so how do i test it and where can i get a replacement from Thank you

Welcome to Robotreviews!
This is totally normal, that is the RCON sensor which is also found on the Roomba its self. On the robot, it’s used to see the home base and virtual walls. On the home base, it’s so the base can see the robot.
