I just stopped in to store.irobot.com to look for accessories and saw a link above the 500 series category offering a free sidebrush. Just fill in the shipping information and submit. A pretty cool freebie for 500 series owners!

Just called and spoke to a cs named Stephanie who said 'oh, tech support sends those out, i'll transfer you...'
i told the tech support csr that they recently had a free side brush promo for 500 series that elapsed (she was clueless about this promo offer) and could they send me one anyway as a customer courtesy... after getting some address info, etc. she responded 'no problem, it's on it's way to you'

overall cs experience with irobot has been above average once i became a bit more familiar with how to work with their scripts to get what the robots (scooba 335 and roomba 535) need to keep them up and running.
