Anyone had this problem? 'Marks' on carpet...

My wife's main complaint about the roombas is they don't clean near walls or corners. I told her they leave that for you. My black eye is almost gone. :)

I have that problem myself with one of my older discos. I found that the problem stems from the robot basically dragging one of the side wheels along as it attempts to clean. As the wheel drags, it leaves a mark. That may be the case for you as well.

It is most definitely the roomba leaving track marks around turns and along walls. I have watched it happen. I come back with a high power shop vac to pull the nap back up. I think this type of vacuum would be go on Berber or some other type of short pile carpet.
