Neato D10 erratic navigation and disordered mapping

Hello all,

My Neato D10 navigates erratically and produces a faulty map like one in the attached pic. I have bought this robot at "like new" condition from Amazon few months ago (overseas buy, so not possible to return it for repair).

For the very first few runs, Robot was able to yield a more consistent map of the floor with accurate solid wall edges though there was always duplication and transposing of some regions of the map with around 45 degree angle and it was navigating through its cleaning path diagonally in the room. However it was never able to find charging base.

Recently that distorted map spoiled completely to this disordered map attached in the pic. Moreover navigation became erratic, almost random. It never completes the cleaning session after very prolonged cleaning time neither it finds the base. I manually dock it.

Robot and its sensors are cosmetically perfect for the outer appearance. I know some people using D10 happily with no problem and their software version is the same with mine. Therefore I would not suspect software but it is perhaps an hardware issue.

What can be wrong with this Robot, any ideas? Wheel encoders? Wall sensor? LIDAR?

do you solved the problem?

We have exactly the same issue with disordered mapping here with our D10.
The robot was working now multiple years without any problems.

Have you tried contacting Neato support? The app and software are buggy, so it's bugging out. Let me know after you have contacted Neato support
